T-SHIRTS 100% ORGANIC COTTON

Sourcing the best of Oregon has been an exciting and interesting journey, we have met some wonderful people along the way, had lots of happy surprises, and many blessings of love and encouragement from the people who create the beautiful products we have on on marketplace. Two such people are the young men that handcraft the 100% cotton T-shirts we have so happily added to our web marketplace at Origins Oregon.

When I say...*Sourcing The Best Of Oregon*, these guys fit into that fold nicely....no pun intended. The organic cotton T-shirts that they handcraft are so amazing and clever, one of the tees they make became a meme, the Philosoraptor.  The talent, and creativity they show with every new idea simply amazes us.

We are excited to bring these T-shirts to you, the quality and softness you will love in a T-shirt, they launder nicely, without shrinkage, and hold their color well, true to size and so awesome !

We have added a few more to the market, just today, and have more to add, so there will be something for everyone, both men and women.

Wear your T-shirt with pride, and wear it well.

Be well and happy...in 100% Organic Cotton ~ Holly

 Sourcing the best of Oregon...

Origins Oregon marketplace offers an array of organic hand milled soaps from Rogue Valley Soap Company. These soaps have pure essential oils and natural botanicals, our Shea Butter soap is rich in emollients that moisturize the skin, bringing back your skin's baby soft quality.

My favorite is the organic Cranberry Citrus soap, for it's purity, it leaves
your skin scented with the essence of cranberry citrus, infused with olive, coconut and palm oils, I would describe this soap as amazing and invigorating.

Our comeback soap, Patchouli, is like a walk back in time
, scented with essential oils of Patchouli, with a warm, down to earth scent, this soap is especially good for dry, maturing skin, and gentle enough to be used daily.

The Lavender and Lemon Grass soap, has an aroma that envelops your senses with relaxing lavender essential oil, and invigorates your skin with lemon grass, your whole body will respond to it's therapeutic benefits.
Try these soaps, choose your favorites out of the sixteen different scents, you will never want another soap again. Long lasting because these soaps are hand milled, infused and scented for comfort, aroma and beauty. Your bath time will be the most relaxing and aromatic time of your day or evening.

Our Beautiful City By The Lake...Lake Oswego

Our beautiful city by the lake....Lake Oswego, Oregon

City of Lake Oswego Names Newest Park – Sundeleaf Plaza On December 14, Lake Oswego City Council named the new park at 120 State Street “Sundeleaf Plaza.” The park naming process for the former US Bank property was kicked off by the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board (PRAB) in October. They received 47 different ideas and, after reviewing citizen’s suggestions, recommended the park be named after Richard Sundeleaf to recognize his contribution to the City’s architectural heritage.Richard Sundeleaf (1900-1987) was a prominent, local architect who did more than any other architect to influence the “village” atmosphere in Lake Oswego. He designed many homes and commercial buildings in Lake Oswego, nine of which are listed on the City’s Landmark Designation List - including his home on Phantom Bluff and the bridge and boathouse to Jantzen Island. He also designed some of the City’s oldest commercial buildings which line State Street. These buildings include the Lakewood Center, Oswego Lake House restaurant, Lake Theatre, Murphy Real Estate building currently leased to Starbucks, and the buildings housing Wan Fu and, previously, Hollywood Video. His design incorporated the Arts and Crafts and Tudor style that created the English Village atmosphere, which is today replicated in several designs in the community including Lakeview Village and Millennium Plaza Park.Richard Sundeleaf graduated from the University of Oregon’s School of Architecture in 1923. He was trained in the "Beaux Arts" style of design, and became well-known in the 1920s and 1930s for his imaginative work in industrial architecture. In the late 1940s, he was a leading local proponent of the "Streamline Moderne" style, in which the spirit of the machine age and the concepts of aerodynamics shaped the design of the building.

Butterfly Butterfly

Butterfly, Butterfly

Hoping to catch your eye
Circling around you, oh my
Butterfly, butterfly, come into the light
Oh, what a beautiful sight
Flying so gracefully
Into the sky, the butterfly
Trying to catch a butterfly
Fly, fly, fly, butterfly
There he sets upon the mums
I'm having so much fun
Here's another on the sill
Your standing so still
You go to touch him
There he goes, the butterfly
I hear a tapping on the window
It's the butterfly, fly, fly, fly
There he goes into the sky
Flying so high, the butterfly
I'll see you another day
Butterfly, butterfly, away

A Portland Spring

We embrace Summer in Portland with open arms, and longing hearts. Summer is the time of year we live for in the Pacific Northwest. We are green and lush, with dense forests of old growth trees, tall pines that touch the sky with glory, mossy hillsides, and earthy smells.
This time of year, in early Spring, while the rain is still falling, we wake everyday, rush to the window, is it cloudy ? Raining ? or cold ? When we glimpse even a hint of sun, we smile, ready for the day, all the while reminding ourselves, as we count down the days, until Summer arrives, and once again feel the warmth of the sun as it caresses our skin. And so it goes, in Portland, Oregon, as we embrace another Summer…

Second choice of gifts for first five to donate

We have worked many long hours and used every resource to launch our web marketplace at http://www.originsoregon.com. We are so close, the web market is ready, and we now are out of funds to buy the limited amount of required inventory. We flow toward your better health and wellness, we promote small business in our state, in hoping to uplift our local economy, we believe this is what each of us needs to do, one community at a time, to rebuild our struggling economy. We plan to donate 5% of our sales profits to save the bees, through the HoneyBee Conservancy, in honor of our love for nature, and our natural world, and the abundance of Oregon. We will sell only natural, organic, fair trade and handcrafted products. I am not usually one to raise my hand, this time it is all in the flow of love and gratitude, that I am asking. I promise to pay it forward. Be well and happy ~ Holly

LIVING THE DREAM

The path that speeds us toward our dreams can be a challenging and complex one, so it's easy to get bogged down in confusion and insecurities. We often hesitate at the start of that path, questioning our purpose or our capabilities. Yet we should be moving forward joyously, eager to discover what destiny has in store for us. The universe has plans for us that eclipse anything we have dreamed of thus far. Though we must work diligently to fulfill our potential and to accomplish our individual missions, the universe is aware of both the quests we chose before birth and the goals we have formulated in adulthood. If we accept that it us watching over us and believe that it will facilitate our eventual success, the universe will provide us with the assistance and opportunities that enable us to make significant progress on our journeys of ambition. The universe wants to see you accomplish your goals. No matter how long you've dallied or hesitated, it will always be there to put its plan for you in motion at the first sign of your faith. You can make the most of this aid by acquiescing to it rather than fighting it-nurture your dreams but do not attempt to micromanage every detail along the way. The universe will provide you with guidance and, if you heed that guidance, you will find your formerly stressful quest for success will become a journey of great joy.
